Finally a missing piece of the puzzle for all-ages entertainment in Whistler… Welcome to The Adventure Group’s Vallea Lumina, an (affordable) and interactive feast for the senses.

After the night falls, complimentary shuttles transport groups of people every 20 minutes fromthe village to Whistler’s Cougar Mountain and TAG headquarters where an immersive wonderland is waiting for the whole family.  The crowds quickly disperse as you travel at your own speed, and the tour takes approximately one hour to complete over 1.5 kilometres of walkable terrain.

On arrival, the Wes Anderson-esq “Park Rangers” greet you at the Vallea Lumina gates, and send you off on a self-guided hike through a well-lit path of wonderment through the forest.  Here you are immersed in a story of finding a pair of missing hikers and are entranced by the Memory Factory’s talented displays of lights, videos and holograms.

The musical accompaniments are perfectly paired with the scenography to create a wooded adventure that transports you to a mystical and magical land.  There are plenty of opportunities to touch, play, explore and engage with the environment along the way.

This unique addition fills a gap that is much needed in the resort of Whistler where groups and families can enjoy themselves in the evening aside from the vibrant bar scene for some clean, healthy fun and a little exercise!
