A snow-demic has hit Whistler as the white stuff just keeps falling. Winter is on in full force in the Coast Mountains and Whistler has been riding a wave of powdery joy. The weather front that moved in over the weekend brought another 20 inches in the last 48hrs, dropping almost 50 inches of fresh snow in the past 7 days. The base is now sitting at 70 inches measured mid-mountain at the Pig Alley weather station. All this new snow has made for ideal alpine conditions and it’s not stopping there. More of the good stuff is expected into the week.
