The 2010 Winter Olympics opened Friday night at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a rousing Opening Ceremony that didn't quite match the pageantry of Beijing, but did a solid job of capturing the essence of Canada and BC! On Friday night the Olympic torch relay came through Whistler, BC on its way down to Vancouver. Several Whistler locals and celebrities carried the torch through the village and up to skier's Plaza where a large local gathering cheered! This event has put the Olympic spirit into the town and the Premium Experiences™ team is ready to meet and greet several groups arriving this week including several government royal dignitaries, athletes and media groups.
